1st AHPG Meeting

The inaugural meeting of the Ad Hoc Procedures Group was held in Ottawa, Canada and eleven (11) founding member representatives and six (6) observers from the European Union and the United States were present. As a starting point for discussion, the FDA draft document GHTF Guiding Principles and Procedures was separated into three working documents and during the meeting, substantial progress was made at assessing the different proposals submitted and clarifying guiding principles, roles and responsibilities and operating procedures for the GHTF. A second European proposal (PDF) (Word) was also considered. The record of proceedings (PDF) (Word) for the October Ad Hoc Procedures Group meeting was finalized at the 23-24 February 2000 meeting.
